The Washington Parks Department announced via Facebook Friday, Aug. 31, that punch cards for the 2018 pool season will need to be turned into the parks office by Friday, Sept. 14, for a refund.

Darren Dunkle, parks department director, said the department would issue a prorated refund for season pass account holders from the time the main pool closed July 21 due to pump issues to the end of the regularly scheduled season Aug. 12.

Dunkle said that refund would come in the mail.

The parks department announced on their Facebook page Aug. 7 that for those who purchased punch cards and would like a refund, they would have to bring the card to the office.

In turn, the parks department would issue a refund check in the amount of the remaining punches.

The parks office is located at 1220 S. Lakeshore Drive.
