The Washington Planning and Zoning Commission will review three requests Monday, Sept. 10, at 7 p.m. at its monthly meeting at Washington City Hall.
Little Elm LLC is requesting the rezoning of two parcels of land from R-1A single-family to C-2 general commercial. The lots, sized 10,000 square feet and 3,000 square feet, are located along Highway 100 and are adjoined by commercial property to the east and the south.
The commission also will hear a special use permit request for a roadside stand/food truck to be located behind Otis Campbell’s at 216 W. Front St.
The applicant previously requested a permit to operate on public property. This request would be for a stand entirely on private property.
Also on the agenda is a request to approve Stone Crest Plat 14 by UNNCO Development Corporation.
Board of Adjustments
Prior to the zoning commission meeting there will be a board of adjustment meeting at 6 p.m. also at city hall.
Ben Ziglin is requesting variances for electronic message displays at 6244 Highway 100 and 802 Rainbow Drive.
