Money earned by civic groups, schools and churches which worked the gates, parking lots and concession stands at the 2017 Washington Town and Country Fair totaled $146,870 — a new record.

Donations were up about $1,511 from the previous year.

Outgoing Fair Chair Joe Maniaci gave the annual Fair report at the Washington Chamber business breakfast meeting last Thursday at the KC Hall.

A breakdown of those donations are as follows:
