The Warners’ Warm-Up Coat Drive in Franklin County ended Tuesday.
The coats are being picked up this week at businesses and schools that served as collection sites.
The coats will be sorted this Saturday, Nov. 18, beginning at 10 a.m. at the Presbyterian Church of Washington.
Volunteers and community service groups will help sort all of the coats to get them ready for distribution.
The coats will be given to eight area agencies which will distribute them to those in need. These groups include:
Loving Hearts and Pregnancy Assistance Center, both in Washington; Washington Emergency Relief Fund; Agape House of Pacific; Agape House of St. Clair; Franklin County Children’s Division; Union Food Pantry; and Meramec Mission in Sullivan.
The drive kicked off Nov. 1 and ran through Nov. 14.
