He was first elected in 1988.
There will be a race for Washington mayor now that a second candidate officially filed for election.
Nathan Krausch filed Wednesday for the April 3, 2018, municipal election. Incumbent Mayor Sandy Lucy filed Tuesday.
Filing opened Tuesday at 8 a.m. and five council candidates filed for office that morning.
Incumbent Ward 4 Councilman Josh Brinker will face challenger Gretchen Pettet for the seat. Also filing Monday were incumbent Councilmen Steve Sullentrup, Mark Hidritch and Greg Skornia.
