The parks department’s revenue and pricing policy was forwarded to the city attorney Monday night.
The department has been working on the policy for the past several months. The documents outlines philosophies and criteria for the establishment of fees and charges.
It highlights sponsorships, cosponsopsrhips, determining fees and charges, adjustments and other outlines.
The revenue and pricing policy hasn’t been updated in several years. Once the policies are adopted, they will be reviewed on an annual basis.
Parks department officials will continue working on updating fees and charges and the revenue and pricing policy.
Once the policy is reviewed by the city attorney, it will move to the full council for final approval.
