SchoolTube Inc. recently announced that a video contributed by Washington High School was featured on its Video of the Day for Monday, Sept. 24.

The video chronicles the adventures of WHS juniors Brian Trigg and Liam Flood during a trip to St. Louis. The duo hopped aboard a MetroLink train at the Brentwood station and traveled downtown to stop at St. Louis Union Station, the Museum of Westward Expansion and the Gateway Arch.

Trigg filmed, edited and narrated the entire piece for a Blue Jay Journal TV report that originally aired in the spring of 2012.

“Thousands of videos are uploaded to our site every day,” said Jeff Johnston, SchoolTube’s community director. “Our ‘Video of the Day’ selections are the crème of the crop from the most innovative students and teachers.”

SchoolTube Inc. is the nation’s largest K-12 video sharing website and is endorsed by over a dozen national education associations. Its mission is to empower students and teachers through the use of video in a fun and safe environment.
