Rebecca Wall-Schultz, PARIC’s vice president of estimating, has been added to the company’s senior management team and is the first female to hold this position in the company’s history.

The promotion was effective July 25.

With more than 30 years of experience in the industry, Wall-Schultz of Washington has worked her way up from a data entry clerk to her current position.

According to the National Association of Women in Construction, women make up just 9 percent of the industry. Of that 9 percent 76 percent of them hold sales and office/assistant positions.

Now a member of a six-person executive team, Wall-Schultz will use her unique experience to help grow the brand and develop PARIC’s longterm strategic plan, officials said. Other team members include CEO Joe McKee, President Keith Wolkoff, Senior Vice President and CFO Brian Paluch, Senior Vice President of Operations Michael Rallo Sr., and Vice President of Business Development Todd Goodrich.

“I am truly honored to become a member of PARIC’s executive team,” said Wall-Schultz. “I’m looking forward to providing a new voice for the company and bringing a different perspective to the team. PARIC has been an important part of my career and I am truly thankful for this opportunity.”

Wall-Schultz was the first United States Green Building Council (USGBC) LEED accredited professional at PARIC, the general contractor selected to construct the Nidus Center for Scientific Enterprise, Missouri’s first certified “Green Building” and one of the first “Green” laboratories in the nation.

She also is a Certified Professional Estimator (CPE), a past president for the National Association for Women in Construction, and a past Regional Governor of the American Society of Professional Estimators (ASPE) Central Plains Region, serving 13 states.

In addition to her leadership role with the organization, Wall-Schultz also is a two-time honoree as the ASPE’s Estimator of the Year.

“This is a very exciting time for PARIC,” said Joe McKee, CEO of PARIC.

“The addition of Becky to our executive team will have a huge impact on our company’s evolution and direction,” he said. “She has always been an asset to PARIC and we plan to leverage her knowledge and experience to further grow our company.

“As the vice president of estimating, Becky has total responsibility for all preconstruction activities from concept to groundbreaking for PARIC, which last year alone had $240 million in revenue. She has a knack for numbers and skills to negotiate price, which are absolute essentials when bidding projects,” McKee added. “Her insight allows her to orchestrate the bidding and estimation of potential projects as well as manage PARIC’s preconstruction staff. The accuracy and decisions made by Becky and her staff are crucial to the success of PARIC projects, and ultimately the company’s financial success.”

From new hospitals to convention centers, posh loft renovations, senior living communities, education projects and municipal structures, McKee said Wall-Schultz has coordinated projects ranging from as small as $400,000 to as large as $400 million.

“Becky has been my friend and mentor from the beginning of my career. Her guidance and leadership have gotten me where I am today,” said Keith Wolkoff, president of PARIC. “I am overwhelmed with gratitude and excitement having watched her flourish during the evolution of her career.”

PARIC Corporation is one of the largest construction management and general contracting companies based in St. Louis.
