Washington Buys Traffic Safety Board for Work in Medians

The cost to purchase a traffic safety arrow board for use by city departments is far below the amount budgeted for the equipment.

The parks department mainly will be using the board when personnel are tending to the median planting areas that have been added on Highway 100, east of Highway 47, but it can be used by other departments as well, city council members were told during their meeting this week.
