Bank of Washington Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer L. B. Eckelkamp Jr. recently announced the promotion of Danielle Unnerstall to director of marketing and public relations officer.
“Danielle has been a fantastic addition to the Bank of Washington family,” stated Executive Vice President Louis B. “Buzz” Eckelkamp III.
“She brings a level of expertise and enthusiasm that has helped us take our customer service and strategic marketing to a whole new level,” he said. “I was very happy and proud to promote her to a position of officership with the Bank of Washington.”
Unnerstall joined the Bank of Washington in May 2011 as the marketing director. Prior to joining the bank, she was the marketing manager at Paramount Apparel International, Inc. in Bourbon.
She is a St. Francis Borgia Regional High School alumna and graduated with honors from Missouri State University, Springfield, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing with an emphasis in advertising and promotions, and a minor in design. She also will attend the American Bankers Association School of Bank Marketing and Management this summer.

Unnerstall and her husband, Spencer, reside in Washington and are members of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish. She is a member of the Washington Town and Country Fair Queen Committee, Our Lady of Lourdes Marketing Committee, planning committee for the city of Washington’s 175th Anniversary Celebration and has volunteered with additional charitable campaigns at the bank.
