Union Police are investigating a burglary that was reported at a residence on Friday evening.
According to the police report, officers responded to a home on South Street, where a woman said she discovered that two bicycles were missing from an attached storage room. The woman said the room was not locked and the door had been open.
She said she believed the bikes were removed the night before while she was not home.
On Saturday, the woman contacted police and stated that she had found one of the bicycles in a creek along Highway 47 near a railroad overpass. She said she was able to recover it without incident.
