The Missouri State Highway Patrol has amended a report to state that a man seriously injured in a car crash was wearing a seat belt.
Isaac L. Clark, 19, was wearing a seat belt when he was hurt in a crash Thursday, June 6, the patrol said.
The initial report stated that Clark was not wearing a seat belt.
According to the patrol, Cole W. Weddle, 18, James T. Curran. 19, Union; and Derek J. King, 19, Beaufort; were killed in the crash.
Curran was driving a 2001 Grand Prix southbound on Porterford Road at Cardinal Lane at 2:15 a.m. when the car left the road, struck a culvert and then a tree.
Authorities said the car caught fire after it struck the tree.
Lucas D. Schulze, 19, Union, also was seriously hurt in the crash, the patrol said.
