Union Police are investigating a burglary report that occurred on Sunday at Chapel Ridge Apartments.
According to the police report, officers were dispatched to the residence after a woman said her apartment was entered while she was away during the afternoon.
The woman stated that when she arrived home later that day, she discovered that someone had pried the screen off of her living room window and crawled through the window to enter the apartment. The woman said that video game equipment and a DVD were missing.
The victim named a 14-year-old boy as a possible suspect. She stated that the boy was at her residence earlier in the day playing the video games with her children. When the family left, the boy asked to go along, but was told no.
Police said the boy was questioned, and he denied being responsible for the theft. The boy and his mother allowed officers to search their residence, and the missing items were not found.
