Two people wanted on outstanding felony warrants were captured Wednesday night at a home south of Beaufort, the Franklin County Sheriff's Office reported.

For the last three weeks, law enforcement officers had been looking for Robert Cannon, 29, Hermann, and Bridgette LaChance, 20, Pacific, at several locations. Deputies received information Wednesday evening that the two suspects were at a home off Highway 185 and in a black Pontiac with two other people.

After attempting to flee in the car and then on foot, Cannon was arrested on outstanding felony charges of first-degree tampering and parole violation. LaChance was arrested on active warrants charging her with unlawful use of a weapon and possession of controlled substance, both felonies.
