Three people were arrested Sunday in the Lonedell area in a truck stolen from Illinois.

According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded to the Lonedell area at 11:52 a.m. after a resident spotted a 2006 Ford F-250 truck reported stolen.

A deputy located the truck traveling eastbound on Highway 30 just east of St. Clair. The truck was stopped at Highway 30 and Thunderbird Lane.

A 19-year-old Dittmer man was arrested and authorities will pursue charges of receiving stolen property and tampering with a motor vehicle.

A 23-year-old woman and 26-year-old man, both of St. Clair, were arrested on suspicion of tampering with a motor vehicle.

The vehicle was retuned to its owner.
