The St. Clair Board of Aldermen approved a rezoning request during Monday’s meeting.
There was a public hearing regarding the property located at 1132 Highway TT to be rezoned from light industrial to general commercial. The applicant is Jeff Tobuer with Eternal Promises.
The property is residential, but the adjoining properties are zoned commercial with some light industrial zoned properties separated by a creek, according to the planning and zoning commission document.
The document states that properties to the east are industrial and properties to the west are commercial and they are separated by a creek.
The planning and zoning commission approved this rezoning request at the Monday, Aug. 13, meeting. No one spoke at the public hearing before the regular meeting.
City Administrator Travis Dierker said all the proper paperwork has been turned in for this request.
The board voted 4-0 in favor of rezoning the property from light industrial to general commercial.
