St. Clair R-XIII School District will offer free breakfast and lunch to students this summer.

This is the 11th year the district has provided free meals to students. The program is sponsored by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and served by Chartwells.

The purpose is to “provide nutritional meals for all children regardless of financial eligibility during summer months.”

Starting May 22, free breakfast and lunch will be served to students attending summer school.

The following is a list of times and locations meals will be available for the month of July.

Breakfast

Breakfast will be served to students from 9-9:15 a.m. at First Baptist Church (Springfield), Good Hope Baptist Church and Oak Ridge Estates.

The locations that will have breakfast available from 9:20-9:35 a.m. are St. Clair Southern Baptist Church, Fire House 1 and Crescent Village.

The locations that will have breakfast available from 9:40-9:55 a.m. are Orchard Park, Paradise Mobile Home Park and Lake St. Clair.

Lunch

Lunch will be served to students from 11:45 to noon at First Baptist Church (Springfield), Good Hope Baptist Church and Oak Ridge Estates.

The locations that will have lunch available from noon to 12:20 p.m. are St. Clair Southern Baptist Church, Fire House 1 and Crescent Village.

The locations that will have lunch available from 12:15 to 12:40 p.m. are Orchard Park, Paradise Mobile Home Park and Lake St. Clair. The Evergreen Spray Park will serve lunch at 12:45 p.m.
