St. Clair police officers responded to a call involving a car chase where witnesses claim to have heard gunshots fired Tuesday at 10:50 p.m.

Police Chief Bill Hammack said surveillance footage shows a driver in a light-colored SUV being chased by individuals in a dark-colored pickup truck in the Clairtown neighborhood area.

He said witnesses heard gunshots being fired out of a window from the dark-colored pickup truck. There have been no reports of injuries.

The driver of the light-colored SUV pulled into the police station before quickly pulling away after seeing the dark colored pickup truck drive by, according to Hammack.

The chase stemmed from Pasadena Street and extended from Park Avenue, Missouri Avenue, Moselle Road, Main Street to Highway 47, he said.
