St. Clair Junior High School will host a “Winter Wonderland” event Friday, Dec. 1, from 5-7 p.m.

Families are invited to the first “Winter Wonderland” event. This is a free, family event open to all ages.

The event will include face painting, games, pictures with Santa, cookie decorating, snowball slinging, holiday card and snowflake making, a photo booth, a cupcake walk, and for younger children, messy play activities.

Hot dogs, popcorn, hot cocoa and water will be served during the event.

Attendees will be given a brochure upon entrance. The brochure includes a map of the classrooms and a list of activities for the evening. As they travel around to the different activities, a stamp will be placed on the brochure.

At the end of the night, if there are at least five stamps, attendees can turn in the stamped brochure for a chance to win a prize. There also will be a “Warm and Cozy” room for students who are in need of hats and gloves.

“A Charlie Brown Christmas” will be shown from 7-7:30 p.m. to conclude the event.
