On Friday, Dec. 8, St. Clair firefighters responded to a house fire in Lonedell.
According to Fire Chief Craig Sullivan, crews were dispatched to a house off Chinkapin Lane at 12:15 p.m.
The fire originated from an electrical panel that was located inside a closet. Sullivan said the fire spread to a small area on the outside of the house.
There was extensive damage to the electrical wiring, but there was no major damages to the structure of the house, according to Sullivan.
Crews left the scene at 1:35 p.m. and no injuries were reported, Sullivan said.
St. Clair firefighters responded to a garage fire Saturday night, Dec. 9.
According to Sullivan, crews were dispatched to the 1100 block of Bardot Street at 8:29 p.m. in response to a detached garage on fire.
Sullivan said crews were able to quickly get the fire under control. The inside of the garage sustained extensive damage.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation, according to Sullivan.
