The St. Clair School District will host a parent and community workshop Tuesday, Jan. 2, at the St. Clair High School auditorium.

The purpose is to provide parents and community members with information and practical strategies designed to help children achieve success at home, in school and within the community.

The outcome of the workshop is to increase parent and community engagement and involvement within schools.

The workshop will discuss topics such as communication skills, discipline strategies, planning behaviors and importance of involvement.

Hot dogs and chips will be served from 6-6:30 p.m. and the workshop will be held from 6:30-8 p.m.

There will be attendance prizes and free childcare will be provided.
