Area residents were injured in a car crash Sunday, Dec. 24.

Lorisa Bratch, 24, Robertsville, was driving a 2012 Jeep Compass westbound on Route O, three-tenths of a mile east of American Inn Road, when she crested a hill top and struck two other vehicles that were headed eastbound, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol preliminary report.

Her vehicle struck a 1998 Ford Explorer driven by Charles Young, 52, St. Clair, and a 2016 GMC Sierra driven by Rodrick A. Valley, 50, Bourbon.

The Ford Explorer and GMC Sierra were stopped on the snow covered hill unable to move forward.

Passengers of the Ford Explorer Lisa J. Ashbaugh, 51, St. Clair, Angel D. Davenport 25, Sullivan, and a passenger in the Jeep Compass, Marvin L. Kramme, 47, Dittmer, were taken to Mercy Hospital Washington by Meramec Ambulance for injuries.

All three drivers were wearing seat belts, the patrol said.
