A logging truck tipped on its side and lost its load at about 10 a.m. Thursday when the driver lost control of the vehicle and drove it off the right side of Highway 47 south of Paradise Landing in the Lonedell area. The driver was checked at the scene but was not injured. The northbound truck was being maneuvered through the curves in that stretch of Highway 47 when the incident occurred. No other vehicles were involved. The northbound lane was blocked for about an hour after the crash before the entire stretch of highway was closed between Project and Wieda roads so the logs and truck could be removed. The identity of the driver was not known.
