Big, Wet, Sloppy Kiss

Edgar Murray Elementary School fifth-grade teacher Brian Immekus closes his eyes as he receives a big kiss from Clair the Bulldog, owned by Murray Principal Larrinda Witt, during a morning assembly last week. The school is providing student attendance incentives throughout the academic year as the third-, fourth- and fifth-graders compete against each other as classes. The winner each week gets some kind of reward, like seeing one of its teachers get licked by Clair. Other rewards so far this year have been watching Mark Houser receive a pie in the face and watching Assistant Principal Beth Hill perform cartwheels in front of the students.
