Franklin County deputies arrested three teenage boys suspected of breaking into a home and stealing numerous electronic items early Saturday, March 30.

The sheriff's office said the burglary occurred at a home in the 400 block of Hickory Street in St. Clair. Items stolen included TV sets and gaming systems.

Saturday evening, deputies questioned a potential suspect who admitted to being involved. He told them that some of the stolen property was at a home off Highway 47, north of St. Clair.

At that home, deputies questioned another suspect who admitted being involved and turned over some of the stolen property.

The investigation then led to a home on Sunny Meadows Road where the third teen was questioned and confessed to taking part in the burglary, according to the report.

The suspects range in age from 15 to 17.

Deputies will be seeking second-degree burglary and stealing charges in juvenile or circuit court depending on the suspects' ages.

The investigation is ongoing as officers attempt to locate property not recovered, the sheriff's office said.
