St. Clair Police arrested six individuals for possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia on Monday afternoon after authorities were called to a residence on Ridge Avenue for a possible drug overdose.
When police arrived, they located the six individuals inside the home in the 600 block of Ridge Avenue. They also seized the drugs and paraphernalia.
Upon checking, law enforcement discovered four of the people had outstanding warrants.
Arrested were Nancy Hodge, 23, of Union; Jacob Poertner, 27, of St. Clair; Jacob Shea, 31, of St. Clair; and Hannah Filkins, 18, of Sullivan.
In addition, a 28-year-old Cedar Hill man and a 33-year-old St. Clair man were arrested at the residence. The names of those individuals are being withheld until official charges are issued.
Charges will be sought through the Franklin County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.
