Building Razed, a Few Items Salvaged, but ‘Devastation Was Unbelievable’
St. Clair and surrounding district firefighters work on trying to bring the St. Clair Historical Museum fire under control late Sunday night. In all, 60 to 70 firefighters battled the blaze which destroyed the building at 280 Hibbard St. and the majority of its contents.

Because it was deemed a safety hazard, an excavator tears down what was left of the St. Clair Historical Museum on Monday afternoon less than one day after the structure was destroyed in a fire.
