St. Clair Has ‘Adequate’ Salt Supply

St. Clair Public Works Director Jason Ivie said that as long as Mother Nature and Old Man Winter don’t continue to gang up on St. Clair for an extended period of time, the city’s salt and cinder supply should be adequate.

With another potentially powerful winter storm on the horizon for late Saturday through Monday morning, Ivie told The Missourian this week that St. Clair has about 25 to 30 tons of salt on hand and is guaranteed another 50 tons of it to be delivered any day.
