The St. Clair Board of Aldermen voted to approve an agreement for a professional service proposal from Cochran in the amount of $58,427 for sidewalk installation and improvements on Walton Street and Jean Street at its meeting Monday, April 17.

Developmental Services of Franklin County (DSFC) recently presented a Tin Man award to St. Clair McDonald’s and one of the restaurant’s customers who advocated for an individual with a disability working in the community.

The St. Clair Junior Reserved Officer Training Corps (JROTC) and its instructors recently achieved a rating of “Exceeds Standards,” from the U.S. Air Force — the highest rating attainable in an overall unit assessment.

The St. Clair High School Theatre Troupe will perform “Anatomy of Gray” March 24, 25 at 7 p.m., and March 26 at 2:30 p.m. at the St. Clair High School theater.

St. Clair officials told Attending Angels the city would not reimburse the company for additional costs of a sprinkler system incurred after a contractor working for them claimed the city gave him the incorrect location of the utility.
