Incumbent Edward V. Fischer was re-elected as a Washington Special Road District commissioner Tuesday.

Fischer defeated Glennon A. Gildehaus with 1,769 votes to 1,342. There were 12 write-in votes.

Fischer had 56.64 percent of the vote compared to Gildehaus’ 42.97 percent and the write-in percent of 0.38 percent, for a total of 3,123 votes in nine precincts.

Fischer’s term is for three years.
