A Robertsville teenager suffered moderate injuries on Thursday afternoon when she was involved in a two-vehicle accident on Old Highway 66 at Bourbeuse Street.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, Savannah L. Barnes, 19, was transported by Meramec Ambulance to Mercy Hospital St. Louis following the 2:38 p.m. crash on May 2.

The patrol stated that Barnes was westbound on Old Highway 66 in a 1999 Dodge Caravan and stopped for a turning vehicle. A 2004 Honda Civic driven by Madalyn M. Wurst, 17, of Pacific, was behind the Caravan. Wurst was inattentive, the patrol stated, and the front of the Civic ran into the back of the Caravan.

Both drivers were wearing safety belts. Wurst was not injured.

Both vehicles were totaled.
