Pacific High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) members accompanied Santa Claus Dec. 13 to visit preschoolers in the Meramec Valley Early Childhood Center.

The reason for the visit was a chance to allow youngsters to give Santa their wish list and to present books to the students.

FBLA is a club that focuses on preparing students to be future business leaders and teaching them how to give back to the community.

Every child at the school got the chance to sit on Santa’s lap and tell him what they wanted for Christmas and then receive a special gift.

The students who participated in the visit are taking part in a literacy project, which aims to inspire children to love books and want to read.

The literacy project members would like to send a special thanks to club sponsor Garrett Andreasen for obtaining the items to set the holiday mood that helped make this visit a success.

The students also thank the Gerwitz and Oliver families for their generous book donations for the children.
