Cruise Night 2013 organizers have changed the date of the 2013 downtown car show to Saturday, June 29.

Hours of the event will be from noon to 9 p.m.

The Pacific Partnership sponsors the event. Adam Krauss is this year’s event chair.

Cruise Night previously has been scheduled for June 15.

In addition to the date change, organizers are alerting vehicle owners that cars and trucks will be judged in 20 classes and trophies awarded this year.

In previous years, vehicles in the exhibit were recognized by personal preference of the event sponsors and were issued sponsor trophies.

This year, judges with professional ties to the auto restoration field will judge Dodge, Ford and GM cars and trucks to select best paint, best motor, interior, best interior and best custom restoration.

There also will be people’s choice, best of class and best of show trophies. Classes will include pre-’50s, ’50s, ’60s, ’70s and ’80s.

Motorcycles also will be judged and four trophies awarded for stock, people’s choice, custom and best of show.

Registration will take place on North Columbus Street at St. Louis Street. Cost of registration is $15 for competition cars.

Dash plaques will be awarded to the first 200 vehicles to register.

Spectator cars, entered for display only, can be registered for $10.

Judging and awards will take place between 3 and 5 p.m.
