Pacific residents are buzzing over the opening of a new coffee shop in the postage stamp-sized quarters of a former women’s boutique.

Junk n Java, located in the gated courtyard of the former Simply Because lady’s shop at 113 N. First St. makes the most of the space, featuring a glass doughnut case, a help-yourself coffee bar and snug tables and booths tucked into corners, for those who like to linger over their coffee.
