When you give a Pacific Area Chamber of Commerce gift certificate to an employee, customer or organization seeking a donation, it helps the local economy, Chamber officials said.

The gift certificates are available in $5, $10 and $20 denominations. They can only be spent at the retail establishments printed on the back — which are all in the Pacific community.

“It’s another way the Chamber is working for businesses in our community to keep dollars local,” said Fran Kopsky, Chamber executive director.

The following businesses are participating in the gift certificate program:

Bessinger Auto & Towing, Birdsong’s Card and Gift Shop, Coleman Florist, D’Angelos Pizzeria, Don Flier Motors, Ed’s Service, Education Station at Pacific LLC;

Fuller Automotive, H & R Block, J. Newman and Associates, Meier Shoe Company-Red Wing Shoes, Pacific Antique Mall, Pacific Embroidery;

Pacific Foods, Pacific Lumber Company, Purifiers, Inc.-The Mold Busters, Reed Insurance Agency, Show Me Auto Body & Restoration, Sign Experts, Straatmann Printing, Subway/KHB Enterprises and Summit Auto Parts/Car Quest.

For more information about the gift certificate program, people may contact the Chamber office, 636-271-6639.
