An early evening bomb scare Wednesday at a Pacific plastics company caused police to evacuate two buildings, two residences and block off streets while bomb-sniffing dogs searched the buildings.

At about 7 p.m. Wednesday, Pacific police were notified that the plant manager at Aurora Technologies (ATI), 19 Industrial Drive, had received an email to evacuate the building, according to Capt. Larry Cook, assistant police chief.
