The Pacific Chamber of Commerce is still seeking a partner for the upcoming Pianos for a Purpose benefit, which is intended to help fund projects of local civic groups.

Applications need to be turned in by this Thursday, Oct. 31, to the Chamber office, 333 Chamber Drive.

The benefit will take place Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, at the Pacific Eagles, 707 W. Congress.

The 2013 recipient of the first Pianos benefit was the Pacific High School auditorium, which received $4,000 toward a new sound system.

Applying organizations must be nonprofit and must be located within the Meramec Valley R-III School District boundaries.

If accepted, the partnering organization would be expected to help sell tickets to the benefit and help decorate the Eagles hall on the day of the event.

Pianos for a Purpose is an evening of dinner and entertainment designed as a community service benefit.

To obtain an application to participate in the benefit, contact the Chamber at 636-271-6639.
