The Office of Administration, in conjunction with the Missouri Department of Revenue, has awarded the management contract for the Pacific License Office to the Pacific Area Chamber of Commerce.
All license office contracts in Missouri are awarded through a competitive bid process.
The Pacific Chamber has been the contractor of the license office since 1981. The office will remain at its current location at 333 Chamber Drive.
In fiscal year 2013, more than 50,000 transactions were conducted at the Pacific office, generating approximately $171,715 in agent processing fees.
All local license offices are overseen by the Missouri Departmet of Revenue, but each is operated by an independent agent.
