East Central College will host an International Day Festival Saturday, Nov. 10, in the Donald Shook Student Center Cafe from 10 a.m. to noon to celebrate cultures from around the globe.

The event is free and open to the public.

There will be food, games, music, art, cultural exhibits and more. 

A student performance of Asian Marimba music will take place at 11 a.m., and St. Louis-based “Grupo Atlantico” will perform Latin music and dance at 11:30 a.m.

The event will kick off International Education Week, a week designated by the U.S. Departments of State and Education to promote and celebrate international exchange.
