Union police are looking for a man who is accused of cloning a debit card.
Police said the attempted fraud happened Sunday, Aug. 19. The victim contacted Union police and reported a person had attempted to use his debit card at two ATMs in Union.
The victim told police that during both attempts, the debit card was in his possession. Police said this likely means the suspect cloned the debit card in some manner.
Police said the suspect did not succeed in withdrawing any funds from the victim’s account.
The banks were contacted and police obtained a photo from each bank. In both photos, the same man was pictured.
