A Washington man has been charged for allegedly choking and kicking a woman, and preventing her from leaving a residence for several days.

Quinton Skanes, 19, was charged Thursday in Franklin County Associate Circuit Court with felony second-degree domestic assault. Bond was set at $10,000.

According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s office, the victim said she was assaulted over the span of several days at an apartment on Pleasant Drive off of Pottery Road.

The victim told deputies that Skanes punched her, choked her and kicked her repeatedly causing her serious physical injury, authorities said.

Skanes allegedly prevented the woman from leaving the apartment or calling 911.

Authorities said the victim sustained numerous injuries during the alleged assault.
