Justin D. Wach, 26, Sullivan, has been charged with two felonies, following a domestic violence which took pace at a home in Sullivan in January.

According to the felony affidavit from the Franklin County Persecutor’s office, Wach is charged with one count of felony kidnapping and one count of felony domestic assault.

The affidavit states Wach knowingly restrained a female, unlawfully and without her consent to interfere with her liberty and exposed her to a substantial risk of serious physical injury.

According to a probable cause statement filed by the Sullivan police dated Jan. 19, Wach assaulted the female by striking her repeatedly with an open palm.

Wach also took the victim’s cellphone and keys to prevent her from leaving the residence.

Police allege Wach followed the victim around the residence all day (Jan. 19) until the morning of Jan. 20 to make sure she did not attempt to leave.

During that time, the victim sustained injuries to a right bicep, which are consistent with being grabbed. The victim also had redness to the face consistent to being slapped.

At the time of his arrest, Wach admitted to striking the victim.

Wach and the victim were boyfriend and girlfriend at the time, and lived together in the residence where the alleged kidnapping and assault occurred.
