Three suspects were arrested Friday during a traffic stop in a stolen car while in possession of suspected crystal meth.
According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department, deputies were dispatched to the area of Highway 30 and the Jefferson County line at 2:20 p.m. where a stolen 2017 Chevy Cruze was being driven into Franklin County.
The stolen car was being pursued by the car owner who lost sight of it near Highway 30 and Hendricks Road. The car was stolen from Jefferson County.
A short time later, the car owner saw the vehicle near Highway 30 and Highway FF. Deputies searched the area and spotted the car in the area of Highway 47 and Rye Creek Road.
The car stopped and three occupants were arrested. The driver, Cheyenne E. Fullbright, 26, Pevely, was in possession of suspected crystal methamphetamine.
She was charged in Franklin County Associate Circuit Court with possession of a controlled substance. Authorities also are seeking charges of tampering with a motor vehicle in the first degree, according to the sheriff’s department. She is being held on a $3,900 bond.
The front seat passenger, Eric G. Pietz, 25, was in possession of methamphetamine smoking pipes with a powder substance inside of them.
He also was charged with possession of a controlled substance in Franklin County Associate Circuit Court. Pietz’s last listed address was in De Soto, according to court records. Authorities are seeking a second-degree tampering with a motor vehicle charge against Pietz. He is being held on a $4,900 bond.
A third suspect, Kirk Mills, 23, Arnold, was arrested on a warrant for traffic violations. Authorities are seeking a second-degree tampering with a motor vehicle charge against Mills.
