The trial of anti-government blogger Jeffrey Weinhaus has been postponed after an attorney agreed to represent him on Friday.
Weinhaus was set to go to trial Tuesday in Franklin County Circuit Court on multiple charges stemming from an armed confrontation last fall with Missouri Highway Patrol officers.
The trial was continued after Hugh A. Eastwood, a Clayton-based attorney, filed an entry of appearance on behalf of Weinhas and a motion for a continuance.
Judge Keith Sutherland agreed to the continuance shortly after the motion was filed according to Franklin County Prosecuting Attorney Bob Parks.
