A Fenton man has been charged with several felonies for allegedly threatening patrons of a Catawissa bar with a knife Saturday, April 8, and striking a woman with a jar.
Richard L. Stochl, 49, was charged Monday with two counts of assault, property damage, resisting arrest and unlawful use of a weapon. He is being held in the Franklin County jail on a $75,000 cash-only bond.
The charges stem from an incident at Dew Bolt Inn, where Stochl allegedly threatened customers inside the bar after 1 a.m., according to Franklin County Sheriff Steve Pelton.
Witnesses told deputies that Stochl struck a woman in the back of the head with a Mason jar.
Stochl allegedly damaged the front door with a pool cue spurring the property damage charge, authorities said.
