A Hermann area man who led law enforcement officers on a lengthy pursuit Monday in Franklin and Gasconade counties is being held on felony charges.

Gasconade County Sheriff Randy Esphorst said 22-year-old Jonathan G. Jacobi is charged with first-degree tampering with a motor vehicle and resisting arrest, both felonies, in the incident. A $20,000 bond was set in that case.

Jacobi led officers on a 45-minute pursuit that started in Gasconade County and ended on Highway Y, north of Gerald, in Franklin County when officers managed to disable the pickup truck he was driving with spike strips placed on the highway, according to reports.

See the Wednesday Missouri for more details.
