Crews are scheduled to be out again Wednesday, June 21, on the Route 47 Missouri River Bridge to pour concrete for the drilled bridge shafts of the new bridge.

One lane on the bridge will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and flaggers will be on hand to direct traffic through the closure. In addition, there will be a 15 mph speed limit on the bridge during pour times.

Motorists travelling on northbound Route 47, are asked to not block the intersections leading up to the bridge. This is preventing side traffic from getting through and causing more delays.

Drivers could also use Eighth Street to turn onto northbound Route 47 which will relieve some of the traffic from Third Street and Fifth Street. T
