East Central College invites all Vatterott College students to explore options for continuing their education at ECC after the for-profit college abruptly closed all of its locations Dec. 17.

The college is hosting a registration event Saturday, Jan. 5, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m., in the student services center, located in Buescher Hall on the Union campus.

The event is an opportunity to provide displaced Vatterott students with specific academic advising and counseling assistance for the upcoming spring 2019 semester.

Also at the event, current and prospective students will be able to apply to East Central College, register for classes, take a placement test, receive assistance with financial aid, take a campus tour and meet with an academic adviser.

The ECC bookstore and Learning Center will be open.

No appointment is needed. Students can walk in at anytime during the event or they can contact admissions at 636-584-6588 or admissions@eastcentral.edu.

In addition, the East Central College location in Rolla will extend its hours on Wednesday, Jan. 9, until 7 p.m. to help students prepare for the spring 2019 semester.
