The Franklin County Commission reappointed a member to the Board of Zoning Adjustment and appointed another resident to fill a vacated planning commission seat.

Fred Thatcher of Labadie was reappointed to the Franklin County Board of Zoning Adjustment for a four-year term that was effective Tuesday.

Todd Boland of Villa Ridge was appointed to the Franklin County Planning and Zoning Commission to fill the seat vacated by Kevin Kriete.

Kriete resigned because he moved out of the Boles Township.

Boland’s term runs from April 1 to July 1.

First District Commissioner Tim Brinker reached out to Boland to fill the unexpired term on the planning board.

Boland served on the city of Washington’s Planning and Zoning Commission and is a former Washington city councilman.
