Tim Brinker was elected as Franklin County Presiding Commissioner, receiving 49.5 percent of the votes.

That is according to preliminary results in Tuesday's primary election from the Franklin County Clerk's Office.

Other winners of county offices were Tim Baker, county clerk, 62 percent; Matthew Becker, 60.9 percent; Judge Gael D. Wood, municipal judge, 57 percent. 

In a close race for Franklin County Collector, Doug Trentmann received 6,908, or 36.75 percent, compared to Jamie Keen who received 6,690, or 35.59 percent.  In third place was Tracy Comely with 27.66 percent.
